Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

At McLane, diversity, equity, and inclusion drives how we work, how we lead and how we win.

Our commitment

We work hard every day to advance a culture of belonging and inclusion that strengthens our relationships with our teammates, customers, and our suppliers to enhance and support the communities we serve.

Our Vison

At McLane, diversity, equity, and inclusion drive how we work, how we lead, and how we win. At the core of our success is our respect for uniqueness, fairness, and teamwork. Together, we create a thriving, inclusive workplace that supports and encourages our teammates to be who they are all the time.

Diversity

Diversity refers to the breadth of representation with our teammates, which means at McLane we have a wide range of representation among all teammates not just in terms of race and gender, but in religion, disability, and even background and personal experiences.

Equity

Ensuring everyone has access to the same opportunities but recognizing that we do not all start form the same place and this acknowledgement allows us to right imbalances.

Inclusion

Refers to how different people feel as part of a larger group and at McLane our goal is a sense of belonging among all teammates.

Our DEI Initiatives

Disability Inclusion is very much one of the cornerstones of McLane’s DEI culture. Through the Spark Initiative, McLane partners with Vocational Rehabilitation and community-based organizations to expand access to job opportunities to individuals with disabilities across the organization.
McLane values veterans and we are proud to offer a GI Bill approved truck driver apprenticeship to make the most of your military training and experience with a new transportation career.
McLane Foodservice and Women’s Foodservice Forum have partnered over the years to provide access to leadership development programs and opportunities for all our valued teammates.
McLane is a proud sponsor of Top Women In Convenience. Together, we recognize and celebrate women in the convenience store industry that go above and beyond in their professions.
McLane has partnered with NHCC to access a collaborative community that shares resources, knowledge, and best practices to grow Hispanic talent, customers, and suppliers.
